Before a child gets locked into bad dental hygiene patterns, use this printable warning letter from the Tooth Fairy to encourage good brushing and flossing.
Text of the letter:
Dear Susie,
I know you haven’t lost a tooth recently, but I had to swing by and drop you a note because I found out something troubling.
Your dentist let me know that you have been having some difficulty remembering to brush and floss correctly every day. I understand that it isn’t always fun to brush your teeth, but taking care of your body is important! Your teeth help you talk and eat your food, and teeth that have cavities can cause you pain.
I thought I should warn you that I only take clean teeth. Teeth that have a lot of plaque or cavities won’t work as part of my fairy castle, so I can’t give you any money for them.
I know that you’re a great kid, and I want you to keep having a shiny, clean smile! Please start brushing and flossing every day so I can look forward to my next visit!
Love,
The Tooth Fairy
