Dear Billy,
Your very first tooth has come out now and you have such a great smile! I'll bet you can whistle really well through that gap. Now that you've lost one tooth, you're going to lose the rest of them one by one for the next few years. That's great news for me! It means I'll be able to give you some money for every single tooth!
Pretty soon, though, you won't have a gap where your tooth used to be. You'll have a brand new tooth. That tooth is permanent and you will have it for the rest of your life. That means you'll have to take extra special care of it. You can make it strong and healthy by eating lots of crunchy fruits and vegetables and drinking lots of milk. And if you brush and floss every day then it will stay nice and white and shiny like the great teeth you have now!
You are doing such a good job of growing up, and pretty soon you'll have your grown-up teeth to show for it!
