Great for kids who are a little too enthusiastic about losing their teeth, this Tooth Fairy letter encourages them not to force a tooth.
Text of the letter:
Dear Susie,
Now that you’ve lost a tooth and gotten some of that sweet, sweet moolah, I hear that you have been getting really excited about having me visit again. That makes me so happy! I love visiting you and getting to collect your beautiful teeth for my shining fairy castle.
I want to warn you, though, that you shouldn’t try to force your teeth to come out if they aren’t ready yet. I know it can feel like it takes a long time, but you’ll know a tooth is ready to come out when you can wiggle it really far back and forth or even twist it a little from side to side. If you can’t do that, just leave it be!
While I’ll visit for any clean tooth, even if it gets pulled by the dentist or accidentally knocked out, I would be very sad to hear that you had hurt yourself trying to force out a tooth that wasn’t ready. Just keep brushing and flossing, and I’ll be back for more teeth in no time!
