This printable letter from the Tooth Fairy addresses a child who has had a baby tooth knocked out.
Text of the letter:
Dear Susie,
I’m so sorry to hear that your tooth got knocked out! That must have been kind of scary, and I’m glad that you’re okay. Even though your tooth wasn’t ready to come out on its own, I am still very excited to take it and leave a little something special for you in its place.
Soon your permanent tooth will come in, but until then it’s very important that you take care of the gap where your baby tooth used to be. If it feels swollen or painful, tell a grown-up! And if your guardian takes you to the dentist, they might give you a fake tooth or space maintainer to keep your other teeth nice and even. That would be pretty cool!
Thanks for being such a brave kid and for brushing and flossing every day!
Love,
The Tooth Fairy
